Tom Hedde is a fourth generation Hoosier in the Cass and Carroll County area. Tom and his wife, Billie live in Flora and have called Carroll County home for over 30 years. Tom and Billie have 3 children and 3 grandsons.
Tom graduated from Logansport High School. He attended Indiana University at Kokomo and IUPUI, earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. He is licensed in elementary education, middle school math, and mild intervention K-12. He has taught at Lincoln Middle School, Carroll Jr/Sr High School and Rossville MS/HS School, and Maple Crest STEM MS.
Prior to his time as an educator, he worked at Wilson Packing, D&B Ready-Mix, Deichman Excavating, and Keystone Consulting. In addition, he served two terms as Clerk Treasurer in Camden.
Tom Hedde is currently running for Indiana House of Representatives for the 38th District. "When I take office: I will fight for PUBLIC schools, I will support labor unions and all hard-working Hoosiers. I will be an open, fair, and honest voice for everyone. I will be at every event possible to listen to you. I will be accessible and approachable. I will make decisions based on research not just lobbyist."
